This is the third institution in a row of the same nature that is storage of potatoes. Finding the scope for expansion of business in this field a financial institution came forward with the offer for establishment of this industrial unit through lease financing. Situated in the remote Mohonpur Upa Zilla of Rajshahi district about 23 Km away from the City this unit is five storied having floor space of 18000 sft in each floor. This unit is also equipped with latest machinery from Denmark with auto control system to keep the quality of stuff intact for all time during preservation. About 700 beneficiaries are attached with this unit. In addition to this HYV the management also preserves seeds and potatoes.
The Group itself also uses the storage facilities for preservation of HYV seed potatoes for farmers’ use & the use of Aman Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory.
