This cement mill is situated at Ullapara, Sirajganj and was commissioned during July’ 2003. Financed by the Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited this mill is the biggest in the whole of northern Bangladesh. It is situated 3.23 acres of land. It has a technical building measuring 57706 sft and laboratory 2010 sft and other enclaves covering 7556 sft. Fully equipped with Chinese origin machineries with latest technological know-how with an admixture of German and Japanese technologies for production of high quality Portland cement this mill is a unique example in the whole of Bangladesh. The products of the mill are inconformity with the requirements of BSTI standards set in this regard. Having a capacity of 700 M.T per day the mill is producing quality cement and the entire product is being marketed in all the districts of northern Bangladesh. The mill attained ISO: 9001: 2000 Certificate within 8 (eight) months of its commissioning by a U.K based firm for the quality management of the mill.
